Martin has performed at numerous major UK sporting venues including on 8th October 2005 where he sang both national anthems for the England v Austria World Cup qualifier at Old Trafford, Manchester before a crowd of 67,000 and an international TV audience of millions. He had previously sung the anthem before the England v Northern Ireland World Cup qualifier, again at Old Trafford, Manchester and on 19th November 2005 as a duet with top soprano Lesley Garrett at the KC stadium in Hull.

Martin features regularly in North West regional newspapers and magazines, and is frequently seen and heard on TV & radio. Over the past 12 months, he has been featured on BBC1 Granada, Sky News, Sky Sports and Sky Sports News, and has even appeared on French TV (FR3), during which he sang live and was interviewed in French.
